Upon graduating Monmouth University with a degree in elementary education, I began my teaching career as a general education kindergarten teacher. I received a Masters Degree from Georgian Court University, a Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate, and also completed a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant certificate program there. I earned a a Supervisory Certificate from Kean University. I recently completed the Wilson Language Training.
Over my 30 plus years of teaching(Yikes!) I have taught general education kindergarten and first grade as well as K-2 and grades 5 and grade 6 special education. I even taught in a special education class in a high school!
I wear a couple different hats at Lakehurst Elementary School. I am the Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant on the Child Study Team, the kindergarten through second grade language arts resource teacher, and in class resource support for fifth and sixth grade mathematics. Working with the students and staff at Lakehurst Elementary School is an honor and a pleasure every day.
