Child Study Team
The Lakehurst School District offers programs for students who are eligible for special education and related services for preschool students and for grades kindergarten to eighth.
The Child Study Team is made up with a School Psychologist, a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC), and School Social Worker. The team members administer tests, meet with parents and staff, and case manage the special education services. If parents are concerned about their school age child’s progress, they should feel free to discuss such issues with the child’s teacher or building principal. The child can be referred to the building’s Intervention and Referral Services Committee (I&RS) or the Child Study Team.
