Lakehurst Elementary School proudly celebrated Veterans Day with a heartfelt ceremony honoring those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Staff, students and families gathered to show appreciation for the sacrifices made by veterans in defense of our country. Among the honored guests were Mr. Ryan Schreiber, father of Addison, Avalynn, and Carson. Mr. Schreiber served in the Army National Guard and was deployed to Iraq, where he worked as a Military Police Officer. Also in attendance was their grandfather, Mr. Reid Septor, who proudly served in the U.S. Navy Seabees and later continued his service in the Navy Reserves for five years.
